Benefice Sunday School

Helping your child learn more about loving God and our neighbours, about Jesus, the Bible and the life of the Church. Helping you to give them a good direction in their lives. Bring them along to Sunday School, and “Come and See with Cake and Tea” to celebrate all they have done!

The Benefice Sunday School meets on the second Sunday of the month at St Thomas' Church in Watchfield.
hildren (aged 4 - 11) from across the Benefice are welcome to attend.
Every Sunday School family also receives a weekly activity sheet from the “Roots” resource we are using for our Sunday School sessions.

Drop your child off for a 3.00pm start, then join us at 4.00pm for “Come and See with Cake and Tea” in the Village Hall as we celebrate their work with a short family service, heading back home around 4.30pm. Any parent/s who wish to stay for the whole time are very welcome to do so.

No need to book in advance, you can register your child when you turn up, or download and complete the registration form and bring it with you on the day.

Messy Church

Messy Church is a church with a difference! A chance to be creative, hear Bible stories, eat yummy food and have fun with friends and family. There is no charge to attend, but a minimum donation of £1.50 per child towards costs would be appreciated. Messy Church is open to the whole Benefice.

The dates for Messy church this term are 3rd February, 3rd March and 31st March.
We are also hoping to do something on Good Friday (15th April).

As always it is very helpful to us if you sign up in advance so we can make sure we have enough craft supplies and food. Booking has now opened for the Messy Church session on 3rd February. Please click on this link to sign up.
The theme on 3rd February is ‘Jesus calls his disciples’, and we have lots of fishy crafts planned.
